Science into Action in Southeast Asia

Awareness of our changing climate has steadily grown over the past decade, but its impacts are viewed as intermittent and fleeting: a big flood or the doubling of the price of rice. News reports and climate change studies suggest widespread threats to our health and socioeconomic wellbeing, but often fail to explain how to adapt to the nuances of a shifting climate.
Improving Law and Justice

When DAI was called on to implement Proyecto de Justicia de USAID, it set ambitious goals. Among them: strengthen the country's criminal investigation and prosecution system, and build the judiciary's capacity to manage complex cases and caseloads. While the effort bolstered the country's law and justiceservices, some of the project's most heartfelt successes emanated from its most local component: the Casas Comunitarias de Justicia.
